The Opportunity:

As a Performing Arts Administrator, you will support the Music and Drama departments by coordinating timetables, managing events, and assisting with the launch of a new Speech and Drama programme. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant, creative environment and make a meaningful contribution to the arts programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage timetables for Music and Drama departments
  • Support the organisation and delivery of concerts, productions, and events
  • Manage communications with staff, parents, and students
  • Assist with the launch and development of a new Speech and Drama programme
  • Maintain accurate records and administrative systems
  • Provide general support to the performing arts teams as required
  • Ensure all events and activities run smoothly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the performing arts experience

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Experience in a school or educational environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Interest in the performing arts and willingness to support events

Preferred

  • Experience in managing performing arts events or productions
  • Familiarity with school timetabling systems
  • Previous experience in a part-time or flexible working arrangement
  • Knowledge of drama or music education
