The Opportunity:
As a Performing Arts Administrator, you will support the Music and Drama departments by coordinating timetables, managing events, and assisting with the launch of a new Speech and Drama programme. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant, creative environment and make a meaningful contribution to the arts programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage timetables for Music and Drama departments
- Support the organisation and delivery of concerts, productions, and events
- Manage communications with staff, parents, and students
- Assist with the launch and development of a new Speech and Drama programme
- Maintain accurate records and administrative systems
- Provide general support to the performing arts teams as required
- Ensure all events and activities run smoothly and efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the performing arts experience
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Experience in a school or educational environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Interest in the performing arts and willingness to support events
Preferred
- Experience in managing performing arts events or productions
- Familiarity with school timetabling systems
- Previous experience in a part-time or flexible working arrangement
- Knowledge of drama or music education
