Summary:

Personal Assistant to the Head – Support and manage the Head with exceptional communication and organisational skills.

The Opportunity:

As the Personal Assistant to the Head, you will provide high-level support to the Head, managing a diverse and fast-paced workload with professionalism and discretion. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the Head’s schedule, commitments and correspondence with precision and discretion.
  • Provide administrative and executive support to ensure the smooth delivery of the Head’s priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the school to support the Head’s strategic objectives.
  • Anticipate the Head’s needs and proactively offer solutions to complex challenges.
  • Represent the Head professionally in internal and external communications.
  • Ensure all documentation, reports and meetings are efficiently managed and recorded.
  • Support the Head in the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain a high standard of organisation and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage a demanding and varied workload.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience in a senior support role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a solution-focused approach.

Preferred

  • Experience working closely with senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with educational policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of school operations and governance.
  • Experience in managing complex projects or events.
