Seeking a Physical Education Teacher (Girls) for a temporary role until Easter 2027.

We are looking for an inspirational and innovative Physical Education Teacher (Girls) to join a high-achieving department. This role offers the chance to deliver high-quality lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4, and to contribute to a vibrant extra-curricular programme that supports student development and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Physical Education lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4, including GCSE and BTEC Sport qualifications
- Support and develop students’ physical and personal development through a wide range of sporting opportunities
- Contribute to the delivery and management of a successful extra-curricular enrichment programme
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the continued success and growth of the PE department
- Inspire, challenge, and motivate students to achieve excellence in sport and physical education
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, with a focus on student progress and achievement
- Support the ongoing development of the curriculum and assessment strategies in PE
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and personal best
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Physical Education
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Excellent classroom and practical teaching skills, both indoors and outdoors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to the value and importance of PE and sport
- Ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
Preferred
- Experience with GCSE and BTEC Sport qualifications
- Experience in developing and delivering extra-curricular sporting activities
- Leadership experience within a PE department
- Experience in working with a diverse range of students
- Knowledge of current developments in sport and physical education
