The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Physical Education Teacher to join a thriving and innovative PE team. This is an opportunity to contribute to a broad and inclusive PE curriculum, including GCSE and A Level qualifications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Support the delivery of GCSE and A Level PE courses, including exam preparation and assessment.
  • Promote a culture of discipline, hard work, and personal development through physical education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and student engagement.
  • Encourage student participation in sports and physical activities both within and beyond the classroom.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of character development and academic excellence.
  • Work closely with students to support their personal growth and well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience in teaching Physical Education at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Strong understanding of GCSE and A Level PE curricula and assessment methods.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a supportive school culture.
  • Commitment to the school’s core values of Discipline, Hard Work, Honesty, and Humility.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in character development and pastoral support.
  • Knowledge of sports coaching or additional qualifications in physical education.
  • Experience with the Saracens Values and ethos.
