Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective PE lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Encourage active participation and foster positive attitudes towards health and fitness.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Contribute to extracurricular sports activities and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the holistic development of students.
- Develop and implement structured lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Promote an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the PE department.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree or qualification in Physical Education or a related subject (or working towards one).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
- Enthusiasm for sport, health, and physical activity.
- Ability to plan and deliver structured lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or working within a school setting.
- Experience with extracurricular sports activities or coaching.
- Familiarity with assessment methods and student progress tracking.
