The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics and/or Biology Teacher to join its highly successful Science department. The role involves teaching up to A Level and contributes to a culture of excellence in education. This is an ideal opportunity for an ECT looking to grow with a supportive induction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Physics and/or Biology lessons to students up to A Level.
• Support students in achieving excellent GCSE and A Level results.
• Participate in the co-curricular life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning and development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
• Engage in professional development and continuous improvement of teaching practices.
• Contribute to the pastoral care and overall wellbeing of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Physics and/or Biology.
• Experience teaching up to A Level.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
• Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience with early career teachers or a proven track record of supporting professional development.
• Experience in a Catholic or values-based educational environment.
• Familiarity with the UK curriculum and examination systems.
