Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Physics lessons at KS3, KS4, and Key Stage 5.
- Use formative and summative data to improve student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching resources and strategies.
- Support the school’s commitment to a growth mindset and Disruption Free Learning.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Participate in the school’s professional development and induction programmes.
- Maintain excellent student behaviour and support a calm and orderly learning environment.
- Engage in pastoral care and student support initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Physics.
- Ability to deliver high-quality lessons across all key stages.
- Commitment to collaborative working and continuous professional development.
- Strong understanding of formative and summative assessment strategies.
- Passion for teaching and a belief in the growth mindset.
Preferred
- Experience with Disruption Free Learning.
- Experience in leading or supporting ECTs (Early Career Teachers).
- Experience with innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Knowledge of Science facilities and laboratory-based teaching.
