Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Physics lessons at KS3, KS4, and Key Stage 5.
  • Use formative and summative data to improve student learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching resources and strategies.
  • Support the school’s commitment to a growth mindset and Disruption Free Learning.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Participate in the school’s professional development and induction programmes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Physics.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality lessons across all key stages.
  • Commitment to collaborative working and continuous professional development.
  • Strong understanding of formative and summative assessment strategies.
  • Passion for teaching and a belief in the growth mindset.

Preferred

  • Experience with Disruption Free Learning.
  • Experience in leading or supporting ECTs (Early Career Teachers).
  • Experience with innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Knowledge of Science facilities and laboratory-based teaching.
