Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Science to KS4 students, including both trilogy and separate sciences.
• Deliver lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
• Support the development of students' scientific skills through practical and theoretical learning.
• Teach your specialism at KS5 where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with a friendly, experienced team of Science staff.
• Participate in a robust programme of professional development and wellbeing activities.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in the classroom.
• Contribute to the school’s mission of promoting tolerance, inclusion, and academic excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
• Experience teaching Science at KS4 and KS5 levels.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to promote excellent behaviour.
• Commitment to practical and engaging science education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

• Experience with teaching trilogy and separate sciences.
• Familiarity with modern, well-equipped science laboratories.
• Experience with professional development and continuous learning.
• Knowledge of Jewish education or a pluralist Jewish ethos.
