As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of inquisitive and motivated students. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science to KS4 students, including both trilogy and separate sciences.
- Deliver lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
- Support the development of students' scientific skills through practical and theoretical learning.
- Teach your specialism at KS5 where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with a friendly, experienced team of Science staff.
- Participate in a robust programme of professional development and wellbeing activities.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in the classroom.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of promoting tolerance, inclusion, and academic excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
- Experience teaching Science at KS4 and KS5 levels.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to promote excellent behaviour.
- Commitment to practical and engaging science education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching trilogy and separate sciences.
- Familiarity with modern, well-equipped science laboratories.
- Experience with professional development and continuous learning.
- Knowledge of Jewish education or a pluralist Jewish ethos.
