Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Physics, Combined Science, and General Science across KG3, KG4, and GCSE/IGCSE levels.
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote student achievement and a love of learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and interdisciplinary science curricula.
• Support students of all abilities and ensure outstanding academic outcomes.
• Manage and maintain well-equipped science laboratories and facilities.
• Participate in the broader school community through extracurricular activities and professional development.
• Contribute to the school’s mission of fostering ecological awareness and sustainability.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Native-level English language skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field, with a PGCE in Education and QTS or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Science in the UK or a reputable British school overseas
• Proven track record of achieving outstanding GCSE results
• Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing and effective classroom environment

Preferred

• Experience teaching Physics, Combined Science, and General Science across multiple key stages
• Background in project-based and experiential learning
• Strong understanding of ecological education and sustainability principles
• Experience with outdoor or environmental education
