Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver interactive and engaging lessons that inspire students and promote a deep understanding of Computer Science.
• Support the strategic development of the Computer Science curriculum across the school.
• Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and examination performance in Computer Science.
• Implement effective classroom management and teaching strategies to enhance student outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching approaches.
• Contribute to the holistic development of students by promoting well-being and personal growth.
• Take an active role in the professional development of the department and wider school community.
• Maintain accurate records and assessments to monitor student progress and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Computer Science and IT at KS3, 4, and 5.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
• Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
• Commitment to student well-being and holistic development.
• Experience in contributing to curriculum development and strategic planning.

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Experience in working within an academy trust or multi-academy trust.
• Experience in leading or supporting staff development initiatives.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies in Computer Science.
