Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences that support student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices across the department.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of Physics concepts.
- Support students in developing the skills needed to succeed in A Level Physics and beyond.
- Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
- Promote equal opportunities and ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
- Participate in the school’s professional development and continuing education initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Physics at A Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
- Commitment to student achievement and a passion for Physics education.
- Experience in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Understanding of current educational policies and teaching practices.
Preferred
- Experience with the ECF programme or similar teacher training initiatives.
- Experience in curriculum development and leadership within a department.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Experience with innovative teaching strategies and technology in the classroom.
