The Opportunity:

We are seeking an exceptional Physics Teacher to join our team and contribute to raising student achievement across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. This is a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2026, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal growth within a supportive and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Physics lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels
• Support subject leaders in developing and implementing effective schemes of work and lesson plans
• Monitor and report on student progress through internal and external assessments
• Collaborate with the Head of Year to provide high-quality pastoral care and support to students
• Contribute to whole school development priorities and faculty initiatives
• Undertake supervision duties as required by the school duty rota
• Participate in continuous professional development to enhance teaching and learning practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good undergraduate degree in Physics
• Commitment and passion for teaching
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Effective management of student behaviour
• Digital competence to utilise technology in lesson delivery

Preferred

• Experience teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
• Previous experience in the independent school sector
• Strong track record in raising student achievement
• Experience with curriculum development and enrichment activities
