The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking department as a Physics Teacher, inspiring students aged 16–19 and delivering high-quality lessons in Physics and Science. This is an exciting opportunity to support learners in achieving their academic and career aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and high-quality Physics lessons from Level 2 to A Level.
Support students in preparing for further study or careers in Physics and Science.
Foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pedagogy and current practice in Physics education.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student progress.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.
Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS) or working towards it.
Experience in teaching Physics at Level 2 to A Level.
Commitment to excellent teaching and student engagement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

Experience with inclusive teaching practices.
Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
Demonstrated success in student achievement and progression.
Experience with digital learning tools and resources.
