Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology with a focus on product design
  • Experience delivering practical and hands-on lessons
  • Confidence working with students with special educational needs and mental health challenges
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to student success and high expectations

Preferred

  • Experience in alternative provision or special needs education
  • Knowledge of vocational qualifications and pathways
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection
  • Experience in curriculum development and innovative teaching methods
