Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and structured lessons to young learners.
  • Support the development of students’ academic, social, and emotional skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in line with the school’s curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Uphold the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in early years education.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with children aged 4–11.

Preferred

  • Experience in a co-educational setting.
  • Familiarity with a broad and creative curriculum.
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience with curriculum planning and delivery.
