Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Arabic lessons that are engaging, interactive, and aligned with the National Curriculum.

  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote curiosity and independent learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider life of the school and enhance the learning experience for all students.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students through adherence to safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Support students in their academic and personal development through regular assessment and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records and report on student progress to parents and senior staff.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and leadership skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A B.Ed or BA degree in Arabic with PGCE.
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Proficient in the use of ICT for teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Background in teaching within an international or multicultural setting.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular activities.
  • Knowledge of Islamic Studies and its integration into the curriculum.
