Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Islamic education to primary students.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and Islamic teachings.
• Foster a caring and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent learning.
• Promote the values of Islam through interactive and meaningful teaching methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and school community.
• Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth through personalized attention and guidance.
• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A B.Ed or BA degree in Islamic Studies with a PGCE.
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Proficient in the use of ICT in teaching and learning.

Preferred

• Experience in fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Background in innovative teaching practices and educational technology.
