Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across a range of subjects for students aged 2 to 11.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Support the school’s mission by promoting values such as kindness, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to contribute to the overall success of the institution.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians to support student learning and development.
- Encourage a love of learning and a growth mindset in students through creative and interactive teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a valid teaching qualification and relevant experience in primary education.
- Experience teaching across a range of ages and abilities, ideally from Early Years to Year 6.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to the school’s values, including kindness, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
Preferred
- Experience working in a Catholic or values-based school environment.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience with pastoral care and student well-being support.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload effectively.
