The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Inclusion Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on students' lives. This role is central to supporting students with diverse learning needs and fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to students’ unique needs.
  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons that promote student engagement and academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to support student progress.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing detailed feedback and guidance.
  • Participate in and contribute to the school’s extra-curricular and enrichment activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in inclusion education and integrate innovative teaching strategies.
  • Support the school’s commitment to Positive Education and character development.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education with a SENCO qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching students with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of inclusion education and differentiated instruction.
  • Experience with ASDAN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to Positive Education and character development.
  • Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom.

Preferred

  • Experience in a UK or international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum of England or IB programmes.
  • Experience with innovative teaching tools and technologies.
  • Leadership experience or willingness to take on a leadership role within the inclusion team.
