The Opportunity:

As a Primary PE and Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the physical and personal development of students. This position requires a passionate educator with the ability to teach across primary to middle school, and experience in national or international curricula such as PYP, MYP, IGCSE, or similar. You will inspire students through inquiry-based learning and contribute to a dynamic, supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging PE and swimming lessons aligned with national or international curriculum standards.
  • Guide and support students in developing physical skills, health awareness, and lifelong learning habits.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate interdisciplinary learning and develop online resources.
  • Assess student progress through practical problem-solving and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support students with special educational needs by developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages self-esteem and independent learning.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including PE and Sport applications and interdisciplinary course development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualification certificate issued by the Department of National Education or detailed knowledge of PE and Swimming curricula such as PYP, MYP, IGCSE, or similar.
  • Experience teaching PE and Swimming at primary and middle school levels.
  • Ability to guide inquiry-based learning and facilitate student collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum and assessment development in PE and Swimming.
  • Commitment to supporting students with special educational needs.

Preferred

  • Experience in high school PE and Swimming teaching.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as CNC, iPC, or iMYC.
  • Experience in developing online learning resources.
  • Background in interdisciplinary course development.
