The Opportunity:
As a School Administrator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school office. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries with a professional and friendly approach
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pupil records within the school’s MIS system
- Oversee attendance and absence reporting to ensure compliance and transparency
- Coordinate and support the organisation of after-school clubs, school trips, performances, and events
- Provide administrative support to teaching staff and the Senior Leadership Team
- Assist with the management of school communications and documentation
- Ensure the school office is well-ordered and welcoming to all visitors
- Support the implementation of school policies and procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within an educational setting
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mail merge
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience with school MIS systems such as iSAMS or SIMS
- Knowledge of educational policies and procedures
- Experience in a school environment with a focus on student welfare and development
