The Opportunity:

As a School Administrator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional administrative support to students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries with a professional and friendly approach
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pupil records within the school’s MIS system
  • Oversee attendance and absence reporting to ensure compliance and transparency
  • Coordinate and support the organisation of after-school clubs, school trips, performances, and events
  • Provide administrative support to teaching staff and the Senior Leadership Team
  • Assist with the management of school communications and documentation
  • Ensure the school office is well-ordered and welcoming to all visitors
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mail merge
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience with school MIS systems such as iSAMS or SIMS
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures
  • Experience in a school environment with a focus on student welfare and development
