Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons that meet the needs of all students.
• Plan and prepare effective long, medium, and short-term lesson sequences.
• Support the development of teaching and learning across the key stage.
• Manage classroom resources and create a positive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress in line with school assessments.
• Collaborate with other professionals to support students with diverse learning needs.
• Facilitate hybrid, distance, and face-to-face learning sessions.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers using school systems and processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or equivalent with a mandatory post-teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching the England National Curriculum (ENC) in a primary setting.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and its implementation.

Preferred

• Experience working with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• Strong IT literacy and familiarity with online technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a multi-cultural environment.
