The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Primary Teacher to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on young learners. This role offers the opportunity to shape student development through innovative teaching, strong pastoral care, and collaboration with experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge and IPC frameworks, using inquiry-based strategies and differentiated instruction.
  • Plan and assess learning through high-quality units, formative and summative assessments, and detailed student reports.
  • Provide strong pastoral care by building supportive relationships and promoting students’ social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with parents, and participate in school events and professional development.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and support the school’s mission and vision through innovative teaching practices.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners and aligns with the school’s SLOs.
  • Fulfil additional responsibilities as required by the Head of Primary or Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS) and experience teaching Primary-aged learners.
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge Curriculum and/or IPC, with experience supporting EAL learners.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality teaching and student engagement.
  • A passion for child-centred education and reflective practice.

Preferred

  • Experience in international or UK educational settings.
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning and support inquiry-based approaches.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular activities.
