The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary STEAM Teacher to lead and inspire the next generation of learners. This role is central to delivering an innovative, inquiry-based STEAM curriculum that aligns with the school’s mission and learning outcomes. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of STEAM education at the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of an engaging, cross-curricular STEAM programme for Early Years and Primary students.
  • Model best practice in STEAM teaching and support colleagues through professional development and practical demonstrations.
  • Monitor student progress through assessment and data analysis, and report findings to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Build strong cross-curricular links and enhance community engagement through parent workshops and events.
  • Collaborate with the Secondary STEAM Lead Teacher to ensure a cohesive and progressive STEAM pathway for students.
  • Support whole-school initiatives and contribute to the school’s vision for innovation and excellence in education.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Primary or Deputy Head of School.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree.
  • Proven experience in leading or teaching STEAM in a Primary setting, ideally in an international school.
  • Strong knowledge of innovative STEAM pedagogy, including robotics, coding, and engineering.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead both students and teachers.
  • Commitment to fostering creativity, curiosity, and future-ready skills in students.

Preferred

  • Experience with inquiry-based and hands-on STEAM teaching approaches.
  • International teaching experience, particularly in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience with digital technologies and makerspace tools.
  • Leadership experience in educational settings or curriculum development.
