The Opportunity:

A Primary Teacher (Years 4-6) is needed to inspire and guide students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This role is central to delivering high-quality education aligned with Cambridge and IPC frameworks, while supporting the school's mission and student development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge and IPC frameworks, using inquiry-based strategies and differentiated instruction.
  • Plan and assess learning through high-quality units, regular assessments, and meaningful student reports.
  • Provide strong pastoral care, building supportive relationships and promoting social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, communicate with parents, and participate in school events and professional development.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and support the school’s mission and values.
  • Fulfil additional responsibilities as required by leadership and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS) and experience teaching Primary-aged learners.
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge Curriculum and/or IPC, with experience supporting EAL learners.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality teaching and student engagement.
  • A passion for child-centred education and a reflective approach to teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience in international teaching environments.
  • Proficiency in using technology and inquiry-based learning strategies.
  • Experience in leadership or mentoring roles within a school setting.
