The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to join its team in September 2026 on a full-time, temporary basis. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive and high-achieving environment, where your expertise and dedication will contribute to the continued success of students from ages three to 11.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and academic achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student progress and development.
- Plan and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements and school priorities.
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and report on student progress and achievement regularly.
- Contribute to the school’s vision of addressing educational disadvantage through best practice and leadership.
- Support the school’s commitment to building strong, trusting relationships with families.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Experience in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Preferred
- Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
- Familiarity with leadership development programmes or CPD initiatives.
- Experience with outdoor education or environmental learning.
- Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes and attainment.
