The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to join its team in September 2026 on a full-time, temporary basis. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive and high-achieving environment, where your expertise and dedication will contribute to the continued success of students from ages three to 11.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and academic achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student progress and development.
  • Plan and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements and school priorities.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and achievement regularly.
  • Contribute to the school’s vision of addressing educational disadvantage through best practice and leadership.
  • Support the school’s commitment to building strong, trusting relationships with families.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Experience in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred

  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Familiarity with leadership development programmes or CPD initiatives.
  • Experience with outdoor education or environmental learning.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes and attainment.
