A Teacher of Music is needed to inspire students and support their growth in music. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the subject and committed to developing young people's talents and futures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality music education across all key stages.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through individual and group instruction.
  • Lead and contribute to co-curricular music activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s music program.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in music education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for music.
  • Experience in delivering music qualifications (MYP and/or DP is desirable but not essential).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school with a collaborative and supportive culture.
  • Previous leadership experience or involvement in co-curricular activities.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
