Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Psychology to KS4 and KS5 students with enthusiasm and expertise.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students, ensuring they develop a love of learning.
- Support students in achieving excellent academic results and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in the school’s programme of professional development and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the wider school community through pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Psychology and education.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents to support student progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Relevant degree in Psychology or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5 level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Health & Social Care.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
- Familiarity with using digital tools in the classroom.
- Experience in a school that has been graded Good by Ofsted.
