The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated Reception Administrator to join our team and provide essential administrative support in a vibrant school setting. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, organized, and passionate about education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a welcoming and efficient reception service to visitors and phone callers.
  • Support the Office Management team with administrative tasks and office operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the coordination of events, meetings, and Trust CPD days.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the school office by managing day-to-day administrative duties.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Support the school’s commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the school environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a busy and professional environment.
  • Strong computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • A Grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Previous experience in a reception or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with school management systems or software.
