The Opportunity:
As a Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the school and requires a proactive, multi-tasking individual who can manage a fast-paced front desk with care and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk and ensure a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, staff, and visitors.
- Handle a wide range of administrative tasks and support school staff as needed.
- Maintain a well-organised and professional reception area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Assist with general office administration and support the business support team.
- Undertake first aid training as required.
- Prioritise tasks and manage a demanding workload efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or customer service environment.
- Previous experience with first aid or similar training.
- Knowledge of school operations and administrative procedures.
