The Opportunity:
A part-time Receptionist is required to support the smooth operation of the school. This role involves providing a warm welcome to visitors and managing administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors warmly and manage the visitor sign-in process.
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls and manage the school email inbox.
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, filing, and scanning.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and office supplies.
- Provide first aid cover and support the morning receptionist when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front-desk receptionist role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- High level of punctuality, discretion, and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting.
- Knowledge of SIMS or Parentmail systems.
- Education to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Current first aid certificate.
