We are seeking a passionate and qualified Religious Education Teacher to join our dedicated team and inspire students aged 11-18. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young people's lives while contributing to a vibrant and values-driven school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons across the 11-18 age range.
  • Support the spiritual development of students in line with the school's Christian ethos.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
  • Engage with students and the wider school community to promote the school's values.
  • Participate in the planning, preparation, and marking of lessons.
  • Work closely with the Chaplaincy team to support the spiritual and pastoral needs of students.
  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic and creative department.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal and presentational skills in all interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Education.
  • Ability to teach RE to students aged 11-18.
  • Commitment to the school's Christian ethos and values.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

Preferred

  • Experience in pastoral care or Chaplaincy support.
  • Background in teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Previous experience in a Catholic or faith-based educational setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
