Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities
- Support and monitor student progress to ensure excellent outcomes across all key stages
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices within the department
- Play an active role in the wider school community, including pastoral care and enrichment activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and enhance the standards of teaching and learning
- Promote the ethos and values of a Church of England school through teaching and pastoral support
- Engage in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status with a relevant degree
- Strong classroom teaching experience or strong potential as an ECT
- Passion for Religious Education and a commitment to student success
- Ability to engage, motivate, and support learners of all abilities
- Alignment with the ethos and values of a Church of England school
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Religious Education across Key Stages
- Experience with PSHCE and wider faculty enrichment
- Experience in curriculum development and innovative teaching practice
