Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities
  • Support and monitor student progress to ensure excellent outcomes across all key stages
  • Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices within the department
  • Play an active role in the wider school community, including pastoral care and enrichment activities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and enhance the standards of teaching and learning
  • Promote the ethos and values of a Church of England school through teaching and pastoral support
  • Engage in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status with a relevant degree
  • Strong classroom teaching experience or strong potential as an ECT
  • Passion for Religious Education and a commitment to student success
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and support learners of all abilities
  • Alignment with the ethos and values of a Church of England school

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Religious Education across Key Stages
  • Experience with PSHCE and wider faculty enrichment
  • Experience in curriculum development and innovative teaching practice
