Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in A Level Sociology and GCSE Sociology, with the ability to contribute to A Level Psychology.
- Plan and develop effective learning experiences that promote student engagement and progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices across the department.
- Support students in reaching their full potential through personalized and inclusive teaching approaches.
- Promote and uphold the school’s commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all students in line with the school’s safeguarding policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Social Science.
- Experience in teaching A Level Sociology and GCSE Sociology.
- Ability to contribute to A Level Psychology.
- Commitment to student achievement and inclusive education.
- Understanding of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion principles.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at a secondary or sixth form level.
- Experience with the Early Career Framework (ECF) programme.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Interest in professional development and continuous improvement.
