Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in A Level Sociology and GCSE Sociology, with the ability to contribute to A Level Psychology.
  • Plan and develop effective learning experiences that promote student engagement and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices across the department.
  • Support students in reaching their full potential through personalized and inclusive teaching approaches.
  • Promote and uphold the school’s commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of all students in line with the school’s safeguarding policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Social Science.
  • Experience in teaching A Level Sociology and GCSE Sociology.
  • Ability to contribute to A Level Psychology.
  • Commitment to student achievement and inclusive education.
  • Understanding of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion principles.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at a secondary or sixth form level.
  • Experience with the Early Career Framework (ECF) programme.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Interest in professional development and continuous improvement.
