Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Develop engaging and inclusive curricula that reflect the diverse backgrounds of students.
- Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and personal reflection.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning and school-wide initiatives.
- Support the school’s mission of empowering young women through education and personal development.
- Participate in staff development and school events, including the EMPOWER programme.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students, promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching Religious Studies at Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in a diverse and inclusive school environment.
- Familiarity with the EMPOWER charter and related initiatives.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Ability to contribute to extra-curricular and whole-school events.
