Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a high-performance rugby coaching programme.

  • Collaborate with other members of the sports department to enhance the overall sporting experience.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture among students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with all school policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Represent the school at events and engage with the wider community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a rugby coach at a senior level.
  • Strong knowledge of rugby tactics, rules, and coaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Previous involvement in national or regional rugby competitions.
  • Leadership experience in coaching or sports development.
  • Familiarity with the UK education system and school culture.
