The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons that engage and challenge students across all Key Stages.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and families to support student achievement and well-being.
- Promote a culture of high expectations and no excuses, ensuring all students can succeed regardless of their starting point.
- Support the school’s commitment to extra-curricular activities and trips, enhancing student experiences beyond the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and improve the school’s strong academic and pastoral standards.
- Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and ensure it aligns with the school’s vision and values.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and leadership skills.
- Encourage and support student participation in sports and physical activities, both within and outside the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
- Ability to deliver engaging and effective Physical Education lessons.
- Commitment to the school’s values and ethos of high expectations and inclusivity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to extra-curricular sports activities.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Familiarity with the school’s curriculum and vision.
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
