The Opportunity:
As a School Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the school and the support of its mission to foster a love of mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors, parents, contractors, and delivery staff, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming calls efficiently, transferring callers to relevant staff and taking clear messages.
- Follow safeguarding procedures by ensuring all visitors and contractors complete sign-in and lanyard procedures.
- Verify DBS and ID information for contractors and supervise visitors as required.
- Use the school’s finance system to raise purchase invoices and orders for contractors.
- Maintain accurate records and manage data effectively.
- Support the smooth running of administrative tasks and ensure compliance with school policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs at A*-C/9–4 or equivalent Level 2 qualification.
- Experience of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage and maintain data effectively.
- Good working knowledge of IT packages including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
Preferred
- Experience in a similar administrative or support role.
- Familiarity with school operations and safeguarding procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with financial systems or data management tools.
