The Opportunity:

As a Service Desk Analyst, you will provide first-line technical support to users across the school. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, technically skilled, and passionate about the latest technology. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues using Windows 11, Office 365, and web-based tools.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and simply to non-technical users.
  • Document all support interactions and incident resolutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and IT best practices.
  • Maintain a high level of user satisfaction through prompt and professional service.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of IT hardware and software.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a service desk or IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Office 365.
  • Ability to learn and support web-based line-of-business tools.
  • Understanding of IT hardware and networking concepts.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to customer service and user satisfaction.

Preferred

  • Qualification in IT Service Management or Service Desk Practice.
  • Experience in an educational or public sector environment.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
