As a School Business Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the school’s financial and human resources strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the Finance and HR teams to ensure smooth operations and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to support IT and Premises functions.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve resource utilization and explore new income streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and the wider community.
- Contribute to the school’s strategic vision as a key member of the Leadership Group.
- Work independently and proactively to meet the school’s evolving needs.
- Support the Head Teacher in achieving the school’s long-term goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all financial and HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in school business management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent financial and HR management expertise.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on school development and growth.
- Experience in budget planning, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
Preferred
- Experience in developing community and business partnerships.
- Familiarity with education sector best practices and policies.
- Knowledge of school operations, including IT and premises management.
- Experience in supporting school leadership and strategic planning.
