The Opportunity:
As an Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in managing the ISEB Common Pre-Test and Common Entrance testing process for prospective students. This is a vital position that supports the school’s mission to attract and guide talented boys and their families through the admissions journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the ISEB Common Pre-Test and Common Entrance testing process.
- Provide a high standard of customer service to parents, students, and teachers.
- Assist and support the admissions team during busy periods.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all administrative tasks are completed with attention to detail.
- Liaise with preparatory schools and parents to guide prospective students through the admissions process.
- Use Microsoft Office 365 applications to manage communications, reports, and data efficiently.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the admissions office and support other team members.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous experience in a similar role within a busy office or customer service environment.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, MS Forms, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Outlook).
- Professional and friendly interpersonal skills when interacting with students, parents, and teachers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of admissions processes and procedures.
- Experience with child protection and safeguarding policies.
