As a School Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ academic and social-emotional development. You will work closely with students, parents, and teachers to create a positive and nurturing school environment. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualized support plans for students.
  • Conduct assessments and interventions to address students’ academic and behavioral needs.
  • Promote student success through career guidance, college counseling, and academic planning.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the development of student support programs.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Support the implementation of the school’s mission and values in all student interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in school counseling or student support services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is preferred.
  • Familiarity with international curricula and educational standards.
  • Experience in providing academic and career guidance to students.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Knowledge of the IB curriculum and programs.
  • Experience with student mental health and well-being initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
