The Opportunity:

As a School Principal, you will lead the strategic direction and daily operations of a school, ensuring alignment with international standards and fostering a dynamic learning environment. This is a pivotal role that shapes the future of education and student development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement the school’s strategic direction in line with the Group’s goals.
  • Develop and monitor long-term and short-term development plans for the school.
  • Oversee the daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Ensure the school environment is well-maintained and equipped for optimal learning.
  • Lead curriculum design in collaboration with the Pedagogy team.
  • Ensure alignment of the school’s curriculum with the IB standards and practices.
  • Coach and support teaching staff to maintain high-quality pedagogy and student assessment.
  • Manage staff recruitment, development, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure child safeguarding policies are implemented and followed.
  • Allocate students to classes considering age, learning needs, and other relevant factors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents and the wider community.
  • Develop marketing strategies to attract and retain students.
  • Manage the school’s financial performance and budgeting.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education.
  • 5 years of leadership experience in an International School.
  • 8 to 10 years of teaching experience in an International School with preschool and primary children.
  • Training and experience in International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in inquiry-based curriculum.
  • International experience, especially in Asia.
  • Strong leadership in navigating ambiguity and managing under pressure.
