The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Religious Education Teacher to join our dynamic department and contribute to the delivery of high-quality learning across all key stages, including A Level. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Religious Education lessons to students across all key stages.
- Support the development and delivery of the school’s Church School Ethos.
- Raise attainment in RE through innovative teaching methods and assessment strategies.
- Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme and pastoral care.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance departmental performance and student outcomes.
- Provide individualised support and high aspirations for all students.
- Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments in line with school policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Education.
- Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
- Commitment to the Christian values of courage, compassion, and commitment.
- Ability to teach across all key stages, including A Level.
- Experience in raising student attainment in RE.
Preferred
- Experience in a Church of England school or similar setting.
- Involvement in extra-curricular activities.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Evidence of professional development in RE or related subjects.
