Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils through tailored interventions to enhance their learning and personal development.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction and guidance in line with the school’s academic and leadership programme.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and the wider Star community to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Manage and deliver training and leadership development activities for students and staff.
  • Ensure the safe and effective delivery of all programmes, including Arms Range Management qualifications.
  • Motivate and engage students to achieve their full potential through leadership and personal development opportunities.
  • Work closely with the school and Star Academies to align with shared values and objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Arms Range Management Qualification, Stages 1-3.
  • UK Forces experience.
  • Management or leadership experience.
  • Strong organisational and technical skills.
  • Ability to motivate cadets and staff effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships.

Preferred

  • Experience in education or youth development.
  • Background in leadership training or development.
  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
