The Opportunity:

As a Business Support Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support to pupils, teachers, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional administrative support to staff, pupils, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and data across multiple systems and databases.
  • Coordinate and support a wide range of administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and event organisation.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of school business functions, including procurement and financial administration.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all members of the school community.
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the business support team to achieve shared goals and maintain high standards of service.
  • Assist with the management of school events and external communications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Proven experience in an administrative setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience in student administration.
  • Familiarity with educational institutions and their operations.
  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
