The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality science teaching across Year 9 to Year 13 with a focus on Physics.
- Inspire students to develop strong scientific knowledge and applied problem-solving skills.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and aspirational learning environment that supports student wellbeing.
- Collaborate with industry partners on real-life projects to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Support the school’s integrated engineering curriculum and contribute to the development of technical and engineering pathways.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure consistent implementation of the National Curriculum and STEM principles.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 A*-C (or 9-4) grades at GCSE including English and Maths.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Experience and working knowledge of Science in the National Curriculum.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Sound knowledge of STEM and Engineering Curriculum and its relevance to UTCs.
Preferred
- Specialism in Physics to support technical and engineering pathways.
- Experience in teaching within a UTC or similar environment.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate industry-standard practices into teaching.
