Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality science lessons that inspire and engage students across all year groups.
- Support the development of the science curriculum and contribute to departmental planning and strategy.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure all learners achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate.
- Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.
- Contribute to extracurricular science activities and events.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Experience in teaching science at secondary level.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting students with special educational needs.
- Familiarity with the Wade Deacon Trust and its values.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
