The Opportunity:
As a Maths Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving improvement and innovation in mathematics across multiple secondary schools. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate maths development across multiple schools.
- Support and mentor maths teachers to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
- Design and implement professional development programmes tailored to maths education.
- Collaborate with school leaders to align maths strategies with overall school improvement plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of maths initiatives across the trust.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in maths teaching.
- Work closely with external partners to access the latest research and best practice in maths education.
- Ensure consistency and high standards in maths delivery across all schools.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a school or academy setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Experience in leading and managing curriculum development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive improvement and innovation in teaching and learning.
Preferred
- Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation.
- Leadership experience in a joint faith or inclusive educational setting.
- Experience in developing and delivering professional development for teachers.
- Familiarity with national maths strategies and assessment frameworks.
