Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and a love of science.
- Support student learning through differentiated instruction and personalized feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science Faculty to share best practices and improve teaching standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Stay up to date with current scientific developments and incorporate them into the curriculum.
- Provide pastoral care and guidance to students where appropriate.
- Participate in school events and initiatives that support the school’s mission of "Achieving Excellence Together."
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
- Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stage 4.
- Strong subject knowledge in Science.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.
Preferred
- Experience teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods or curriculum development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
